Kannapolis fire displaces two families

This Kannapolis home on Horton Avenue caught fire this morning, displacing two families - 10 people total. Six dogs were saved from the house; sadly, several dogs and puppies were not able to be rescued.

Our Cabarrus County volunteers were on the scene immediately, providing emergency assistance to the families through assistance for food, shelter and clothing.
