How We Help

Each year our in Cabarrus County our American Red Cross touches around 15,000 individuals. We help with direct financial assistance to provide emergency housing, food, clothing, essential health & human supplies for victims of disaster - most frequently house fires.

We help connect military families with their soldier at times of family and/or personal emergency. We connect soldiers with financial support when needed.

We train your co-workers, your neighbor, your spouse how to help you when cardiac arrest, choking, or severe bleeding threatens your life. We teach your teenage how to be a babysitter, a lifeguard, and how to save your family pet.

We collect almost 6,000 units of blood. Blood that is used in 103 hospitals in North Carolina to save lives and support recovery from surgeries, injuries, or therapies like chemo. And we prepare you family to Be Red Cross Ready - which prepares you and your community for disasters large and small.
